Job Description:
  • Work on large streams of business analysis and own project artefacts for one or more small projects.
  • Own components of business analysis/artefacts for medium to large scale projects including IT handover and testing.
  • Work independently to elicit, validate and document business requirements and input into solution design where necessary
  • Present findings, requirements and problem statements to Design Authority with supporting documentation
  • Define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation
  • Support the Testing Strategy and input into the coverage of Test scenarios and conditions ensuring all requirements in scope are tested
  • Participate in the testing cycle and own the resolution of defects pertaining to requirement and design clarifications
  • Face off to one or many business areas/SME's understanding high level requirements and challenging where necessary
  • Liaise with other teams including development & QA testing with focus on user outcomes.
  • Identify complex issues, assess their magnitude & impact on own work area, other groups & the organization
  • Develop supporting data, analysis the information to propose the rational & logical solutions
  • Facilitate group problem solving sessions
Skills Required:
  • Degree from top tier university
  • CA / CFA / MBA Finance for top tier institute
  • Formal project management / business analysis training / qualification
  • Practical experience of Business Process Modelling using Enterprise Architect (or equivalent tool).
  • Experience of preparing and issuing a range of key business analysis deliverables
  • Exposure to working in medium to large scale change initiatives.
  • Experience of communicating with a wide array of people and some experience of stakeholder management
  • Experience of some of the underpinning frameworks and  tools for business analysis documentation e.g. UML / BPMN
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office products with some experience using other software packages relevant to BA work
  • Change experience within Investment Bank Finance domain
