Job Description:
- Please list six to ten major responsibilities regularly performed by this position.
- Design and Coding of iOS Apps using Swift and ObjectiveC
- Works with UX team to ensure quality and implementability of designs
- Performs functional and non-functional tests to ensure overall product quality
- Works with QA to review test plans and test cases
- Helps resolve defects raised by QA in a timely manner
- Helps manager build sprint plans and executes on the plans
- Stays informed about new/upcoming changes to the development platform and inducts into the product in consultation with Manager.
- Stays informed about technical trends in area of work and inducts the best practices into the deliverables
- Understands the Software Engineering best practices and optimally uses the tools and processes applicable
Skills Required:
- List the minimum required skills needed to perform the job.
- Expert level skills in iOS programming
- Expert level skills in OOD/OOP
- Well versed with UML, ability to develop/interpret UML based designs
- Experience developing content (audio/video) streaming apps
- Well versed with Apple procedures to make new releases/updates to AppStore
- Good team player, experience mentoring fresh/inexperienced developers
- Familiarity using design patterns applicable to development assignments
- Experience designing and consuming SOAP/Rest based APIs
- Extensive experience using Version Control software like GIT/CVS/Perforce and planning basic branching and merging
- Experience working in Agile development environments, and associated engineering practices like TDD/CI/Pair Programming
